Denon tu-260lii tuner manual

All the stereo transmissions it does "blink" at are muffled in quality. When using the supplied indoor FM aerial instead, it only occasionally finds at most two stable stereo transmissions. At all other known stereo channel frequencies, the stereo indicator blinks which I assume means that it is not fine tuning accurately for some reason. I have tried every possible permutation of aerial input - the supplied indoor antenna alone, my loft aerial with and without the amplifier, and with and without the AM loop aerial attached.

I have read that sometimes this can be caused by the tuner requiring rebooting to sort things out but can find no information on how to achieve this for this particular model, if indeed it is possible. Would the addition of an omni-directional loft aerial in the loft, and connected to the tv cable, be a solution? Can anyone shed any light on the cause of my problem? Many thanks in advance. All the info on offer here relates to the MKI version.

Running along the bottom of the panel are the station preset buttons. Find your favourite stations. Now search for stations either in "manual" or "auto" mode. In "auto" mode, the tuner will seek only those stations with a high enough strength to be played clearly in mono or stereo. Up to 20 FM and AM stations can be saved to memory by tuning to the desired station, then tapping the "memory" button and then pushing one of the row of buttons labelled "," "," etc.

The "shift" button at the end of this row designates, for example, button "" as the memory button for two stations, one saved under "1" and the other under "
