I love steam and so when I saw that Fallout 3 was available on it I instantly pre-ordered it. I just now realized that mods may not be compatible with the Steam version. I really hope this isn't the case because I am pretty sure Steam stuff is non-refundable. Any answers? There is a high probability that IF they make something similar to OBSE it won't work on steam, I strongly suggest you to buy the regular version, that way you'll be sure that it will work in the same way that it works for most of the people, including the mods creator.
