All the steps provided in the link were mostly for Bluetooth controllers. Unfortunately, the app won't even recognize my controller. I had a few other xbox controllers lying around and I tried those. They also show up as the unknown usb device. It seems like my controller drivers just completely broke themselves. I'm having the same problem I think. If you don't mind, how does one go about uninstalling a chipset? I have an amd cpu and to uninstall my chipset drivers I simply just hit the windows key and typed "add or remove programs" them I just went into my list of apps, found the drivers and uninstalled them.
